How To Make The Sprite Move With Arrow Keys

This is another Tutorial on How to Make your Sprite Move With Arrow Keys.
It's actually very simple. Always remember to put When Flag Is Clicked in order for the script to work.

  1. Open Up Scratch and then go to "Sensing"
  2. At the middle there will be "Key Space pressed"
  3. Attach the Forever If under the When Flag is Clicked
  4. Then drag The Key Space Pressed to the Space that is left for you to drag in it.
  5. Then Press The Down Arrow next to the word Space to view more option keys.
  6. We will use the Up arrow key for an example. Click on it.
  7. Then inside the Forever if, you will want to have the move 10 steps so it could move.
  8. Go to Motion - Point in Direction Up 0 degrees. So that when you press the up arrow key, your sprite will move and point upwards.
  9. Do the Same step for the down, left and right key arrows and remember to put point in direction 90, -90, 0 or 180 depending on your sprite's arrow key.

    How To Make Sprite(s) Move

    How To Make Sprites Move:

First of all, you need to have "When Flag is clicked"

    • If you want your sprite to move forever, put "forever" underneath "When flag is clicked"
    • To make your Sprite move, you need to go to Motions - move 10 steps. You can adjust the 10 steps to any number you want. The higher your number, the faster it moves
If you want the sprite to bounce off then you could put if on edge, bounce with the forever.
